The goal is to bring more of the entrepreneurial journey into one connected network rather than leaving people to piece it together across disconnected tools and existing personal networks.

That includes founders, aspiring founders, builders, developers, designers, marketers, operators, advisors, mentors, freelancers, investors and others who want to contribute skills, experience, opportunities or support.

Do I need to already have a startup?

No. You might have an idea, already be building a company, want to join someone else's project, offer expertise, advise founders, find opportunities or simply become more involved in the entrepreneurial community. StarterTables is intended to support different ways of participating.

StarterTables is currently being built. We're opening the network gradually, which is why we're inviting people to join Early Access now. Early members will be among the first people we invite as the product becomes available.

A Table is intended to be the collaborative home around an idea, startup or initiative. It brings the people involved, their roles and the work around the project into a shared environment so that a team can form and progress together.

Yes. StarterTables isn't only about people publishing their own ideas. A major part of the network is helping people discover projects where their skills, experience or ambition could be useful and giving founders a better way to find the people they need.

That's one of the core problems we're trying to solve. Rather than relying entirely on existing networks, StarterTables is being designed to make people, skills, interests and intentions more discoverable so that relevant relationships can form around what someone is actually trying to build.

That's not the goal. StarterTables should bring the entrepreneurial journey together while integrating sensibly with specialist tools where they already do a job well. The focus is on reducing fragmentation and making the people, progress and opportunities around a startup easier to understand and navigate.

Trust and reputation are important parts of the product direction. Over time, profiles, participation, shared work, relationships and reputation can provide more useful context around a person than a cold introduction alone. We're deliberately thinking about trust as part of the network rather than treating it as an afterthought.

Will I be able to say what I'm looking for?

Yes. StarterTables should understand both sides of a connection: what someone can offer and what they currently need. Early Access already starts capturing this because it helps us understand how people want to participate and build better matching and discovery experiences around real needs.

Go extends the StarterTables network into the places you visit. Enter a destination or upcoming trip and the idea is to make relevant people, places and opportunities around that destination visible — from members worth meeting to workspaces, stays, dinners, events and learning opportunities.

Will I be able to meet StarterTables members while travelling?

That's the intention. Instead of arriving in a city with no context, Go should help you understand who from the network is there, who may be open to meeting and what entrepreneurial activity is happening around you.

Are StarterTables stays always free?

No. The direction for StarterTables Stays includes both hospitality offered freely between trusted members and paid stays. The important part is that stays sit within a broader trusted entrepreneurial network rather than functioning as a standalone accommodation marketplace.

Can members offer more than accommodation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Go is deliberately broader than stays. Members may eventually be able to offer or discover things such as a place to work, a founder dinner, a local introduction, a ride, mentoring time, office hours, workshops or events. The destination becomes a starting point for useful real-world relationships.

What does joining Early Access mean?

It tells us that you'd like to be part of the StarterTables network as it opens. We also ask a small number of questions about who you are, what you can contribute and what you're looking for. That helps us understand the early community and build the product around real people rather than assumptions.

Does joining Early Access guarantee immediate access?

No. StarterTables is still being developed and access will be opened progressively. Joining Early Access puts you in the early network and allows us to consider your profile as we begin inviting people into the product.

We want the barriers to getting started to remain low and StarterTables is being designed with accessibility in mind. Some capabilities or services may eventually be paid, but the final pricing model is still being developed. We don't want to promise a pricing structure before we've validated what creates real value for members.

Because a useful network needs more context than a name and email address. Understanding what people can contribute, what they're interested in and what they're looking for helps us shape the early community and, over time, create better discovery and matching experiences.

Yes. After joining Early Access, you can share StarterTables with people you believe would add value to the network. We're especially interested in growing through relevant relationships rather than simply collecting the largest possible number of registrations.
